1. Practice Overview
Compassion Counseling & Behavioral Health Services ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") is a privately owned and operated virtual mental health practice. We offer therapy, life coaching, and behavioral health services exclusively through secure virtual platforms. Our services are available only to clients physically located in the states of Georgia and California, where our providers are licensed to practice.
2. Services and Scheduling
All appointments are scheduled through our designated third-party administrative and billing partner. We do not directly process bookings or accept payments through our website or practice staff. All client communication related to appointment availability, billing, and documentation is managed through the third-party provider.
You are responsible for keeping track of your scheduled appointments and ensuring that your contact information is up to date.
3. Payment and Billing
Compassion Counseling & Behavioral Health Services does not collect payments directly. All billing and insurance processing is managed by a licensed and HIPAA-compliant third-party billing company. For questions about billing, co-pays, or insurance eligibility, please refer to the information provided by that service provider.
By using our services, you agree to the financial and cancellation policies outlined during your intake and onboarding process.
4. Telehealth Consent
All services provided are virtual and conducted through HIPAA-compliant video platforms. By engaging in services, you consent to telehealth as the method of delivery and agree to the limitations and risks associated with virtual mental health services, including technology malfunctions and privacy considerations on your end.
You are responsible for ensuring a private, safe space during your sessions.
5. Client Eligibility
Our services are intended only for individuals physically located in Georgia or California. If at any point you relocate outside of these jurisdictions, we may be legally unable to continue providing services.
We reserve the right to decline or terminate services if this requirement is not met or if a client is found in violation of our policies.
6. Confidentiality
All client information is treated with the highest level of confidentiality and complies with HIPAA standards. Your personal health information will never be shared without your consent except as required by law (e.g., imminent harm, court orders, or abuse reporting obligations).
7. Intellectual Property
All content provided through our website, including text, images, graphics, and branding, is the property of Compassion Counseling & Behavioral Health Services and may not be reused or reproduced without written consent.
8. No Emergency Services
Our services are not intended for crisis intervention or emergency care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room. You may also call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted to this page with a revised effective date.
